Hip Hing Engineering Company Limited has been honored with the Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award 2025 at the Esri User Conference (UC) held in San Diego in July 2025. Hip Hing’s centralized management platform (CMP) combines automatic data collection through open APIs, structured data formats for consistency, and is integrated with BIM for comprehensive visualization through a Single Source of Truth (SSOT). By using ArcGIS Experience Builder, Hip Hing has developed custom applications to visualize a project’s progress, manage multiple aspects of the project in one web application as a digital twin, and make informed decisions based on real-time, integrated data. ArcGIS played a key role in monitoring the installation progress of the precast bowl seating at the Kai Tak Sports Park, which has a capacity of 50,000 seats. The integration of ArcGIS and BIM has delivered significant benefits, saving up to 90 percent of the reporting time previously required to monitor project progress, and has yielded innovative solutions for comprehensive climate risk management.
