HKIP confers Honorary Membership
on Dr. Winnie Tang
Dr. Winnie Tang, founder and chairman of Esri China (Hong Kong), was awarded with an Honorary Membership from the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP). Dr. Winnie Tang has dedicated herself to the development and deployment of GIS technology in our city and smart city development in Hong Kong for 25 years.
The HKIP is a professional body for town planners in Hong Kong. It has been actively promoting the community’s awareness of town planning and safeguarding the development and environment in Hong Kong for the community's best interests. The Honorary Membership is conferred on a person the HKIP desires to honor for their contributions to the Institute or in the science of town planning or a related field.
