The Construction Industry Council (CIC) Construction Digitalisation Award 2021 Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on November 1, 2021. Esri China (Hong Kong) as one of the product sponsors, provided ArcGIS software licenses and comprehensive training to the participants. Dr. Winnie Tang, founder and chairman of Esri China (Hong Kong), presented the awards to the winners of the “Training/research institute” category.
In the ceremony, CIC unveiled the construction digitalisation roadmap, outlining the CIC vision of Smart Data Sharing being at the “core” of construction digitalisation and set out how GIS, Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) and the Common Data Environment (CDE) when combined can facilitate collaboration among all stakeholders on a city or project level. The Dashboard of Smart Construction in Hong Kong, supported by Esri China (Hong Kong), has been launched together with the roadmap. The map sensitive dashboard showcases the digitalization adoption rates of the projects in Hong Kong, as well as the demand and supply of Building Information Modeling (BIM) personnel and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) Projects status etc., all at a glance.”
