The founder and chairman of Esri China (Hong Kong), Dr. Winnie Tang, delivered engaging presentations at several events, illustrating the power of GIS technologies.

At the RICS Hong Kong Construction Conference 2023, themed "Design for Future, Build for Life," Dr. Tang's presentation focused on smart construction and the integration of ArcGIS technologies. Dr. Tang emphasized the integration of ArcGIS technology into the Smart Site Safe System (SSSS), leveraging GeoAI and IoT sensors for enhanced construction safety. 

Dr. Winnie Tang, founder and chairman of Esri China (Hong Kong), as well as founder and honorary president of the Smart City Consortium (SCC), highlights the Smart Site Safe System (SSSS) supported by ArcGIS technology. 

Also, Dr. Tang attended the HKIE CA Division 22/23 Summit which fosters innovation and technological advancement. The summit, organized by the Control, Automation & Instrumentation Division (CA Division) of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), celebrated the theme "Proud to Be CA Engineers." During her presentation on "Smart Technologies Driving Sustainable Smart Cities", Dr. Tang emphasized the crucial role of engineers in the digital era. She encouraged attendees to equip themselves with knowledge of GIS and embrace new opportunities.

Additionally, Dr. Tang served as a judge for the Green PropTech Innovator Challenge 2023, organized by Y.X Community and the Hong Kong PropTech Association (HKPTA). The contestants had the opportunity to test their Proof of Concept (POC) at renowned property developers' premises, and to connect with angel investors for potential pre-seed funding. As an Honorary Advisor of HKPTA, Dr. Tang expressed her interest in the participants' stories, acknowledging their uniqueness and potential social value. She hoped that the challenge would inspire further innovation and contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of the real estate industry.
