Sr Prof. Paul Tsui Joins Expert Panel

at Hong Kong Electronics Symposium

 

On May 14, 2025, the Electronics Division of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers hosted the 13th Annual Hong Kong Electronics Symposium (HKES 2025), themed “The Cornerstone of Low Altitude Economy Success – Mobility, Security & Sustainability.” This event brought together leading professionals from the electronics industry across Hong Kong and China to explore cutting-edge technological advancements and future LAE industry trends.

 

Sr Prof. Paul Tsui, Chief Executive Officer of Esri China (Hong Kong) participated in the symposium as a panelist during the expert panel discussion. The session was moderated by Mr. Simon Wong, MH, FCILT, Chief Executive Officer of the Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre, and featured prominent industry leaders including:

  • Ir Dr. John Chan, Director of East & West Region, CLP Power Hong Kong
  • Mr. Kenny Lau, Chief Technology Officer, Hong Kong & Macau Region, S.F. Express (Hong Kong) Limited
  • Mr. Maxwell Zhang, Head of DICT Centre, China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited

The panel engaged in insightful discussions on how innovations in GIS, mobility, and sustainability are shaping the low-altitude economy—a key driver of future growth and prosperity in the region.
