InnoEX 2025 Highlights

The four-day annual innovation event “InnoEX” concluded successfully in April 2025. It was the first time that InnoEX set up a low-altitude economy (LAE) exhibition area. On the first day of the event, the “LAE Development Conference 2025: Reaching Above and Beyond – Mapping the Future of Low Altitude Economy,” jointly organized by the Greater Bay Area Low Altitude Economy Alliance (GBA LAEA) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) took place.

 

The conference commenced with a welcome remark from the Hon. Elizabeth Quat, SBS, BBS, JP, member of the Legislative Council and Founding President of GBA LAEA, followed by a keynote speech by Hon. Michael Wong, Deputy Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR Government and Head of the Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy. Dr. Winnie Tang, MH, JP, Vice President of the GBA LAEA and Founder & Honorary President of the Smart City Consortium (SCC) participated in a panel discussion as a moderator after presenting an overview of LAE Developments. The panel discussion featured a number of senior representatives including –

  • Mr. Burt Guo, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientist, Aerofugia
  • Mr. Tou Ka Hou, Deputy General Manager, INSKY LAB
  • Mr. Michael Sheng, Vice President, Vertaxi
  • Mr. Johnson Zhang Wei, Managing Director of Corporate Market Division, China Mobile Hong Kong Company Ltd.
  • Ms. Joanne Wu Zhiyan, Managing Director, GODO Innovation Technology Hong Kong Ltd.
