Digital Economy Summit

Fosters a Sustainable Future

Two Innovation and Technology (I&T) signature events - the Digital Economy Summit (DES) and the InnoEX 2024 were successfully held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre during the Business of Innovation and Technology Week in April.

Bearing the theme of “Smarter Technovation for All: Forging a Sustainable Future”, DES 2024 attracted technology leaders and industry experts from a wide variety of places to exchange views on how innovative technology can enable a city's digital transformation. Dr. Winnie Tang, MH, JP, Founder and Honorary President of Smart City Consortium (SCC) was one of the Guests of Honor at the DES 2024. Dr. Tang joined the Energy, Environment, and Mobility Forum, an event jointly held by SCC and the Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI), where she delivered welcome remarks.

Smart City Consortium (SCC), co-organizer of the Digital Economy Summit 2024, jointly held a half-day “Energy, Environment and Mobility Forum” with the Applied Science and Technology Research Institute. SCC Founder and Honorary President Dr. Winnie Tang gave the welcome remarks at the event.

The second edition of InnoEX, co-organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), successfully attracted influential tech experts, entrepreneurs, government leaders and investors from around the globe to discuss collaborations and exchange insights into the future opportunities.
