Career Talk by Sr Prof. Paul Tsui
on the Future of Surveying
Sr Professor Paul Tsui, CEO of Esri China (Hong Kong) and Vice President of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, recently delivered an engaging career talk focused on the roles and future career prospects of surveyors in Hong Kong. The event was organized at the Kowloon Sam Yuk Secondary School, following an invitation from Principal Shirley Leung Wing Mui.
Sr Prof. Paul Tsui, CEO of Esri China (Hong Kong) and Vice President of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, shared insights on the future of surveying with students at Kowloon Sam Yuk Secondary School.
During the talk, Sr Prof. Tsui aimed to enhance students' understanding of the essential contributions that surveyors make to society, as well as the various career opportunities available in this field. He believed that by participating in such career talks, students would gain valuable insights and be better prepared for their future studies and professional endeavors. Through these engagements, Sr Prof. Tsui hopes to empower students to make informed decisions about their future and inspire them to pursue fulfilling careers in surveying.
Kowloon Sam Yuk Secondary School has been at the forefront of educational innovation. By setting up the GeoBIM Lab in November 2024, the school has become dedicated to the digital transformation of elevating students' digital literacy and competencies through GIS training and more.
