GeoAI Seminar Supercharges
the Future of Spatial Analysis
Esri China (Hong Kong) conducted a highly engaging seminar titled “GeoAI & Location Intelligence – The Future of Advanced Spatial Analysis” at InnoCentre, Kowloon Tong on April 2, 2025. The seminar showcased the our company’s capabilities in applying GeoAI, attracting over 100 GIS professionals from diverse sectors.
GeoAI represents the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and deep learning with geospatial data and technology. This powerful combination enables the unlocking of hidden insights, the detection of changes, and a deeper understanding of our spatial environment.
The seminar commenced with Mr. Daniel Chantlos, Senior Solution Engineer at Esri Inc., who showcased the capabilities of ArcGIS Pro AI Assistant with Hong Kong data. This innovative tool utilizes a large-language model (LLM) to translate user requests into geospatial queries and summaries, thereby opening new avenues for interactive and accessible experiences. More than this, our GIS Consultant showcased the powerful Segment Anything Model (SAM), which extracts meaningful geographic information from satellite or drone imagery. Additionally, our company highlighted the Text-Segment Anything Model (TextSAM), further expanding the capabilities of GeoAI in text analysis. Our Assistant Research Engineer conducted a live demonstration of the GeoAI Toolbox in ArcGIS Pro. Our team explored the potential of ArcGIS pre-trained models, providing attendees with hands-on insights into the application of GeoAI in real-world scenarios including natural hazard such as landslide detection.
At the end of seminar, our company has introduced ArcGIS products enlisted on Construction Innovation and Technology Fund (CITF), including Site Scan for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro. Interested parties can contact us for application details.
