GIS Entrepreneur’s Journey Echoes in
Loke Yew Hall
At the invitation of the Bachelor of Arts & Sciences (BASc) Program in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Hong Kong, Dr. Winnie Tang, Founder and Chairman of Esri China (Hong Kong), shared her entrepreneurial journey of founding Esri China (Hong Kong) at the BASc Green Gown Career Roundtable. The event took place at the Loke Yew Hall, the oldest structure at the University, which has been the venue for major University events and ceremonies for over a century.

Hundreds of students attended the Roundtable seeking inspiration for their career paths. Mentors from various professional sectors, including geospatial technology, offered their advice and practical skills for the workplace.
Over a hundred students from the BASc Programs attended the BASc Green Gown Career Roundtable held at Loke Yew Hall.
