HK Green Week Discusses

FinTech & PropTech Adoption

 

To foster a green economy for sustainable development, the Hong Kong SAR Government has organized Hong Kong Green Week. As one of the co-organizers, Cyberport  hosted the event "Harnessing PropTech, ESG, and FinTech for a Greener Future". This event aimed to showcase the immense potential of ESG data and FinTech solutions in Hong Kong's booming FinTech and PropTech sectors. Sr Paul Tsui, Vice Chairman of the Green Committee from the Smart City Consortium, had been invited to moderate a panel discussion titled "How FinTech and PropTech Work Together to Promote Green Property Development". 

 

There was a mix of leaders from property developers and FinTech professionals in the panel discussion, including Mr. Eric To, Senior Manager - Proptech, Chinachem Group, Mr. Louis Lee, Chief Distribution Officer, Propcap Technologies Limited, Ms. Rosana Wong, MH, Deputy Chair, Yau Lee Holdings Limited, and Mr. Manton Wai, Head of Investment Solution, EVIDENT. The panel discussion provided insights into the applications of innovation and technology in the collaboration between construction and financial sectors to unlock the potential benefits of the green economy, and how FinTech and PropTech could work together in advancing sustainable property development.
