Esri China (HK) has been pleased to participate in and set up a booth at the Construction Innovation Expo (CIExpo) held from 17-20 December 2019, which provided us an excellent knowledge sharing platform and opportunity to share our experience in applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in a new era of smart construction since the GIS technology has been integrated into the lifecycle of construction projects, from planning, design, building to maintenance.

Our Senior GIS Consultant, Mr. Simon Leung, delivered a presentation with the title “GIS Technology for Digital Construction”, in which he explained how architects and building professionals can build a construction workflow that integrates BIM and GIS to create a common data environment, sharing a single source of truth synchronized within the project team.
