Esri China (Hong Kong) is launching HK ArcGIS, a Hong Kong developed ArcGIS platform with locally owned intellectual property rights acquired from Esri Headquarters. Built on world leading ArcGIS technology, HK ArcGIS integrates geoprocessing tools tailored to Hong Kong–specific scenarios, ready to use local datasets, and out of the box, pre trained GeoAI models optimized for local features. This milestone reflects our long-standing commitment to advancing geospatial innovation and supporting the development of Hong Kong’s smart city ecosystem. This launch ceremony marks an important milestone in advancing locally developed, trusted GIS solutions for Hong Kong.
