ArcGIS Online Free
for Schools under eREAP of HKEdCity
ArcGIS Online, being offered for free to all primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong via our Map in Learning (MiL) Program, has been selected under the eResources Adoption Programme (eREAP) run by the Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity). The program aims at sourcing quality eLearning resources and tools from education solutions suppliers locally and around the world for local primary and secondary schools. Teacher community is set up to share the practices and to provide community support.
ArcGIS Online was introduced at the eREAP briefing session.
.
A briefing session was conducted on 16 October 2019 for participating school representatives to share their experience with other schools after using the platforms and solutions under eREAP. Mr. Kwok Tsz Kwan together with his students from TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College, talked about their first runner-up project in TWGHs Joint Secondary Schools Outstanding GIS Application Competition — “Mouse Plague in Hong Kong”. From data collection, data analysis to presentation, the whole project was finished by the use of ArcGIS Online platform and StoryMaps.
